Crazy Good: The Method Behind the Magic of ‘Extraordinary Performance’
Every organization wants faster results, sharper teams, and bolder innovation. But in today’s hyper-distracted world, most teams aren’t moving faster—they’re just getting busier. The real problem is that we confuse motion with momentum, and effort with impact.

Stand-Up Magic
Max created and produces Stand-Up Magic, New York's premier comedy and magic show.
Stand-Up Magic solves the problem: “What if my friends and I could have a hilarious, amazing, and fun evening for the cost of a single cocktail? And what if we could see world class magic and comedy while we’re at it?”
Stand-Up Magic has been featured in the New York Times and the New York Comedy Festival, and is a TimeOutNYC top magic show in New York. It’s also a top recommendation from The Nudge.
Max has completed two sold-out nationwide tours with the show. Stand-Up Magic runs twice per month in New York, monthly in Denver, and periodically nationwide.
You can get tickets to shows in every city right here.

About Max
Max Davidson turned his childhood hobby into his career. He (and his parents) had no idea that solving a Rubik’s Cube would one day solve paying rent.
A full-time magician based in New York City and performing nationwide, Max is trusted by companies like Google, Apple, The Magic Castle, and Lindt (and yes, they gave him free chocolate. Perks of the job) to deliver world-class experiences.
Max specializes in mentalism–whether that be guessing someone’s phone password, discovering their star sign, and even, yes, solving a Rubik’s cube blindfolded.
100% of Max’s show is interactive–after all, if it wasn’t, you might as well watch a youtube video. (But here’s a few videos to show you what it’s like).
When he moved to New York, he learned how to memorize the names of entire audiences. Now a staple in his show, Max memorizes up to 100 names at a time. He even has a keynote about how you can do it too!
In addition to private and corporate work, Max created, produces, and performs on Stand-Up Magic, New York's premier comedy and magic show. Realizing that most magic shows felt like they were created for the cast of the Great Gastby, Max created Stand-Up Magic to give audiences a down-to-earth, comedy-style show that still packed a ton of punch.
It’s been featured in the New York Times, New York Comedy Festival, TimeoutNYC, and Max and his team (Jason Silberman and Tess Tregellas) have completed two sold-out, nationwide tours with the show.
You can get tickets here.
Other notable performances include The Magic Castle, Caesars Palace, Speakeasy Magick, Disney World, Zero Bond, The Chicago Magic Lounge, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, and private performances for Apple, Google, IRONMAN, and Under Armour.
When he’s not performing, Max finds peculiar joy in endurance sports–he has ten marathons and an Ironman to his name, and for reasons even he doesn’t completely understand, he has no intention of stopping.
No matter where he performs, he understands that ultimately, we crave the opportunity to create memories with the people we love.
